Heaven Or Hell? Pastor Adeboye Says Where Mama HID Awolowo Is Right Now
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has said that he believes late Chief (Mrs) Hannah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo is in heaven.The late matriarch of the Awolowo family, according to the respected clergyman, is resting with the Lord after her demise about two months ago.
Vanguard reports that Adeboye spoke while holding a private prayer session with the family inside their Ikenne country home on Tuesday, November 24, 2025.
“By the special grace of God and because of my interaction with Mama, I have no doubt at all that she is in heaven now,” he was quoted to have said.
Mama Awolowo will be buried this week amid a series of events lined up to celebrate the life and time of the late matriarch.
Reports emerged about three weeks ago, that she will be buried in a white damask apparel which she bought for herself about 36 years ago and a gold casket.
